DescriptionnnTasks:nnFollow all health, safety and environmental policies, procedures, and practices.nnExtensive CNC troubleshooting and repair capabilitiesnnAbility to interpret mechanical, electrical/electronic, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics and diagramsnnDismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired partsnnInstalls and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipmentnnHighly skilled in ball-screw replacement, turret alignments, gib adjustments, and backlash compensationnnStrong working knowledge of relay logic, PLC's, drives, processors, ac/dc motors, and general mechanical (ball-screws, headstock alignment, etc.)nnAbility to perform Ball-bar analysis/troubleshoot and repair (desired)nnHydraulic and pneumatic systems, assembly, installation, maintenance and repairnnRepairs and maintains physical structure of establishmentnnBasic repairs to automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable machine toolsnnFabricates and repairs mechanical devices as needednnMaintain regular and predictable attendancennFulltime 40 hr. commitment with occasional overtime expectednnBASIC QUALIFICATIONS:nnHigh school diploma or GEDnnPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:nnAssociate degree in Industrial Systems Technologiesnn2 years verifiable experience in CNC machine tool troubleshooting and maintenancennPhysical Demands:nnThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.nnRoutinely lift and/or move up to 40 poundsnnSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and depth perceptionnnRoutinely reach with hands and arms to handle or feelnnFrequently required to stand and walknnOccasionally required to sit, stoop, kneel, or crouch
