Class B trucks include - Tri-Axle Tandems, Concrete Mixers and 4K water trucksnnExperience LevelnnIntermediatennPrimary Responsibilities and Dutiesnn• Operate medium to large sized trucks, transporting materials between company work sites using private roads and driving on public highways.nn• Load and unload trucks, using other equipment as necessary, such as forklifts.nn• Secure cargo for transport, using rope, blocks, or covers.nn• Obtain proper and complete documentation prior to moving materials.nn• Collect delivery instructions from appropriate sources, verifying instructions and routes.nn• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle safety inspections and report any defects, damage, or repairs needed.nn• Perform basic vehicle maintenance tasks, such as adding oil, fuel, or fluids.nn• Maintain logs of working hours, or of vehicle maintenance, following applicable state and federal regulations.nn• Will be driving tandem dumps, mixers or water trucks.nnQualificationsnn•Must possess working knowledge skills and abilities for position.nn•Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions and communicate effectively with management/supervision.nn•Ability to use hand tools, power tools and layout tools safe and efficiently.nnRequirementsnn• The person in this position needs to constantly move about a construction/industrial site,nnso should be able to stand, walk, sit, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawlnn• Constantly works in a construction environment and will be exposed to changing outdoornnweather conditionsnn• Work irregular hours, weekends, overtime and holidays as requirednn• May be required to use ladders/mechanical platforms/manlifts/scaffold to accessnnrequired equipment/work areas (may exceed 200 feet), so must be able to climb andnnmaintain balance on formwork, steel formwork, stairs, ladders and scaffoldsnn• Move and work in and around confined and cluttered places, and uneven surfacesnn• Must be able to complete tasks in a noisy and dusty environmentnn• May be required/able to move items weighing up to 50 pounds acrossnnconstruction/industrial sitenn• Must have required toolsnn• Must possess a valid class B driver's license.nn• Observe and comply with all safety and project rules, perform other duties as requirednn• Ability to pass pre-access drug and alcohol testing, fit for duty medical and backgroundnnchecknnWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
