General InformationnnLocated in Lordstown, OH.n$21-$27.00/hour based on previous experience.nRotating schedule working 7am-7pm or 7pm-7amnDirect Hire opportunity with the company.nnAs the Maintenance Technician you would be responsible for overseeing troubleshooting and maintenance of injection mold machines, conveyors, and other mechanical equipment in the plant. Duties/ResponsibilitiesnnPerform daily preventative maintenance on equipment in production areas and complete documentation as scheduled.nTroubleshoot PLC hardware and software issues.nDiagnose, analyze and repair electro-mechanical and instrumentation equipment using meters, gauges, and other testing methods.nApply knowledge in electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, or pneumatic devices and principles to install, repair, and/or replace defective equipment.nAssist supervisor in writing and updating standard maintenance procedures and work instructions. Verify accuracy of work instructions in assigned areas and suggest changes to supervisor/team leader.nPrepares work areas to ensure tools needed are available and in proper working order.nTroubleshoots and resolves equipment problems while demonstrating proactive maintenance concepts.nEffectively communicate with Team Leaders and Supervisors regarding safety/quality/production concerns.nMaintains good housekeeping using the 6S principles.nIdentify need of replacement or of new equipment and inform supervisor.nProvide engineers necessary information for continuous improvement strategies and assist supervisor in writing and updating standard preventive maintenance procedures and work instructions.nBe cooperative with co-workers in order to maintain a good working environment.nResponsible to attend any training classes scheduled by supervisor.nFocus on safety at all times safe working habits, safe work area, and follow all general industrial safety guidelines. Contact supervisor or team leader if any safety problems are observed.nOther duties as assigned.nnSkills/Qualificationsnn3+ years' experience in Industrial maintenance.
