Working Hours: Monday to Friday, normal business hours plus some overtime. Specific hours may vary depending on business needs and delivery schedules.
Job Description: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and physically fit individual to join our team as a Service Technician/Delivery Driver. This is a hybrid position that combines the responsibilities of maintaining water service equipment and delivering water products to a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will be someone who is comfortable working in a physically demanding role and who has a strong commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities: - Install, maintain, and repair water service equipment including water coolers, filtration systems, and other water appliances.
- Perform regular maintenance checks and service to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to water service equipment.
- Conduct water quality tests and adjust systems to meet water purity standards.
- Provide customers with instructions and advice on operating and maintaining their water systems.
- Manage inventory of parts and supplies, ensuring that service vehicles are stocked with necessary items.
- Load and unload water products over 100 pounds, utilizing proper lifting techniques and adherence to safety protocols.
- Deliver water products to residential and commercial customers following a predetermined route and schedule.
- Ensure timely delivery and provide excellent customer service during each visit.
- Collect and manage payments and delivery documentation as required.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and customer interactions.
- Operate and maintain delivery vehicles, ensuring they are clean and in good working order, reporting any maintenance issues promptly.
- Comply with all traffic and transportation laws.
Qualifications: - High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Candidates must pass a DOT physical, drug screen, and background check.
- Experience in a similar role is preferred but not required.
- Good mechanical and technical skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
Physical Requirements: - Capability to lift and carry objects weighing over 100 pounds repeatedly.
- Ability to perform various physical tasks, such as walking, standing, sitting, climbing in and out of the vehicle.
- Bending, stooping, squatting, climbing, reaching, crouching, pushing, pulling, twisting, turning, tapping, hitting, and squeezing
- Good vision as per DOT requirements
