Basic Functions:
Nucor Steel Marion is seeking a leader committed to taking care of our customers. The successful candidate will be safety-minded, goal-oriented, cost and quality-driven. Responsibilities include stocking and inventorying of warehouse parts, cycle counting, receiving deliveries and assisting delivery personnel, assisting contractors and teammates in locating needed parts and supplies, shipping items offsite for return or repair, operating mobile equipment, performing equipment inspections, processing computer transactions in Oracle, housekeeping, and a variety of other tasks related to the successful operation of the Warehouse. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.
Minimum Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or GED
•Previous manufacturing experience
•Able to successfully pass mobile equipment requirements
•Able to lift up to 50 lbs
•Ability to stand for extended periods
Preferred Qualifications:
•Working experience with Microsoft Office Products and warehouse inventory management software
•Working knowledge and experience of mechanical and electrical industrial parts
•Customer service experience
•Warehouse experience
