Receiving Coordinator
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all receiving into ERP system for all warehouses except Pottstown
- Responsible for the receipt of international containers into ERP system
- Creation of Warehouse Transfers
- Receives and records all documentation for all goods and verifies the accuracy of the count of all items unloaded; checks against suppliers count and immediately reports discrepancies to necessary parties
- Responsible for the accuracy of the receipts in the ERP system.
- Verifies and records all items loaded for shipments.
- Notifies necessary parties of major discrepancies, over-shipments, or substitutions.
- Completes information on damage claims.
- Performs other clerical duties.
Position Purpose:
To ensure the accuracy of inventory at the crucial point of entry into the ERP system
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to accurately review and record information per documents sent over
- Understanding of warehouse procedures.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or inventory software to maintain records, input data, and create reports.
Experience and Education:
- Experience not necessary but helpful.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
- Work involves sitting at a computer 90% of the time.
- Typing and applying pressure with the fingers and palm required.
- Able to operate a computer and other office equipment.
- The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
