This role will be onsite in Kettering, OH and is slotted for a 3-6 month assignment which could extend longer.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Temporary HR Associate to support our Human Resources team. This position will focus on various HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee data management, and general HR support. The ideal candidate is proactive, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, handling sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
Responsibilities
Employee Data Management: Maintain and update employee records in HRIS, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
HR Support: Provide day-to-day administrative support, including document preparation, employee onboarding, answering employee queries, and managing miscellaneous HR tasks
Leave Management: FMLA, ADA and other leave management tasks as needed.
Recruitment: Partner with staffing agencies and assist with recruitment of exempt and non-exempt roles.
Benefits Administration: Support the benefits team with enrollments, changes, and answering general benefits questions.
Compliance: Assist in maintaining compliance with labor laws and company policies, including maintaining up-to-date records for auditing purposes.
Employee Engagement: Help organize employee engagement initiatives and support the planning of company events.
HR Projects: Contribute to various HR projects as needed, supporting the team in implementing new initiatives and improvements.
Qualifications
1-2 years of experience in an HR support role, or internship experience in HR.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with HRIS or ATS systems is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
