Job Title: HR Specialist

Pay Rate: $22-24/hr

Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 7 am - 4 pm (1-hour lunch break)

Job Description:

LHH is seeking a dedicated and experienced HR Specialist to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of HR experience in the manufacturing industry and be a self-starter with strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Complete and submit annual governmental reporting, including OSHA, CA Pay Data, EEO-1, VETS 4212, AAP, and others as required by government agencies.
• Track and handle Workers' compensation claims.
• Manage all states Leave of Absence, including FMLA, CFRA, and Reasonable Accommodation.
• Knowledge of multi-state payroll (Paylocity) is a plus.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1-2 years of HR experience in the manufacturing industry (ideal).
• Strong knowledge of governmental reporting requirements.
• Experience in handling Workers' compensation claims and Leave of Absence.
• Familiarity with multi-state payroll systems, particularly Paylocity, is a plus.
• Self-starter with excellent time management and organizational skills.
