Hiring Bonus: $1000 after successful completion of 120 days and an acceptable attendance record ABW has an immediate opening for a Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) who is motivated and will take pride in producing quality fabricated parts and meeting or exceeding customer requirements and schedules. The tasks to perform this job successfully may include the following. Other tasks may be assigned.
- Performs inspections and tests per QC Manual, QA Manual, procedures, instructions, drawings, and travelers at specified stages in production process
- Inspects and/or tests products for variety of qualities such as dimensions, performance, and mechanical, electrical, or chemical characteristics
- Interprets engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confers with management or engineering staff to determine quality of products or materials
- Records inspection and test data
- Evaluates inspection and/or test data and writes reports to validate or indicate deviations from existing manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers
- Recommends modifications of existing quality or production manuals, procedures, instructions, drawings, or travelers to achieve optimum quality within limits of equipment capability
- Sets up and performs nondestructive tests on materials, parts, or products to measure performance or material characteristics, as applicable

Day shift: Work four 10-hour shifts, Monday through Thursday, 6 am-4:30 pm. Overtime as required.
