Our client, a biotechnology company, is seeking a dedicated PART-TIME Human Resources Assistant to support their Human Resources department. In this position, this candidate will support a busy Talent Acquisition team for a growing company. On a daily basis, you will screen candidates, handle scheduling, interface with managers, perform reference checks, and other Human Resources administrative tasks as needed. The ideal candidate has at least one year of experience in Human Resources, but there is flexibility and training for the right person. A candidate that wants to become a key member of a dynamic growing company dedicated to contributing to an amazing culture is desired.
This role is approximately 20 hours/ week to begin.
Duties and Responsibilities
Organize, compile, update company personnel records and documentation
Assist with recruitment of potential applicants
Schedule candidate interviews (phone, virtual, onsite) and travel
Assist in management of requisition lists and processes, online job postings, approval processes and Applicant tracking system
Be the initial face of the company and have direct interface with a diverse applicant base. Represent the company well in every interaction internally and externally
Help organize and manage new employee orientations, on-boarding activities
Maintain HR filing and documentation as needed
Assist in explaining and providing information on employee benefits etc.
Be a reliable, dedicated, service-oriented team member
Learn other aspects of Human Resources department
Requirements and Qualifications
Associate or bachelors degree in human resources, marketing, or a related field preferred. Retail or hospitality experience a plus
1+ years in human resources preferred (willing to train the right person)
Proficient with Microsoft Office
Detail orientation
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Solid listening skills and solid service orientation a must
