Driving and Site Visits: Travel to client locations and auctions, auditing condition reports and performing field inspections (up to 75% or more depending on the schedule).Vehicle Inspections: Verify vehicle information based on work orders, inspect interior and exterior for damage, missing parts, and mechanical issues (e.g., frame/paint repair, engine noise, AC/heater operation, radio, tires). Document findings in a Vehicle Condition Report (VCR) or system entry, including damage descriptions and test-drive results.Client Engagement: Maintain a professional appearance for audits, field visits, and inspector training sessions.Equipment and Software Use: Utilize ECR tools (Brick, PC, TC75, Samsung) and ensure proficiency with job-relevant software and web applications.Photos and Documentation: Take accurate vehicle and damage photos, match them to vehicles, and upload them to the server.Policy Compliance: Maintain knowledge of all relevant policies (e.g., NAAA Frame/Structure Damage Policy) and adapt to account-specific changes. Ensure that all policies and procedures are followed.Daily Reporting and Procedures: Prepare daily activity reports for management and perform day-end procedures efficiently.Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift (up to 30 lbs), and perform other physical tasks as required.Other Responsibilities: Handle special projects and maintain familiarity with system and policy updates.Qualifications:High School Diploma/GED and 7 years of related experience; Any degree and 5 years of related experience; or 9 years of experience in related field.Ability to drive standard and automatic transmission vehicles.Safe drivers needed; valid driver's license required.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. Strong technical aptitude; body, paint and mechanical repair knowledge; mastery of unibody and full-frame vehicles; good organizational skills needed.Ability to multitask, follow directions and take instructions required. Basic computer skills.Successful completion of Manheim ICP Inspector Level IV written/field exam; Basic Inspections (Electronic Condition Report), Vehicle Grading, Repair Recommendations & Frame Merit Certifications requiredAbility to stand, walk, or sit for prolonged periods of time; ability to bend, stoop, squat or kneel; ability to lift and hold at least 10 lbs at waist level for an extended period of time; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.Work Environment: Exposure to outdoor weather and inclement conditions; moderate noise level; may be exposed to fumes and odors; may be required to work overtime (more than 40 hours per week) as business needs dictate; periods of extended driving in a company car traveling to client locations; Communicating and working with ground teams at client locations to verify and review desired vehicle inventory.
