The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations within assigned manufacturing cells, including machine start-up and shutdown, minor repairs, mold changes, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role requires mechanical aptitude, knowledge of machine functions, and the ability to monitor and improve processes to ensure maximum production efficiency.Key Responsibilities for Blow Mold Tech Bryan TX: Complete necessary paperwork, including regrind labels. Assist with mold changes and machine startups. Start and shut down machines as needed. Conduct minor repairs and change inserts when necessary. Ensure compliance with safety regulations among subordinates (Relief/Machine Operator, Material Handler) to minimize accidents and downtime. Promote and maintain safety, quality, and environmental standards within the work area. Uphold housekeeping standards by adhering to 5S principles, ensuring the work area is free from unnecessary clutter. Identify and resolve equipment, personnel, or process issues to achieve maximum production efficiency and quality. Monitor equipment performance and submit maintenance repair tickets to reduce scrap, downtime, and maintain production quality. Prevent mass production of defective or unacceptable parts. Maintain accurate machine boards to communicate machine status, targets, and goals to team members and incoming shifts. Provide instructions to subordinates during breaks and assist with training as needed. Recommend improvements to processes, equipment performance, and operational efficiency. Accurately report daily shift performance, including safety, quality, production, and scrap tickets. Verify production documents, tooling, and materials before use on assigned processes.
