You will have many opportunities to entertain, dance, and put smiles on people's faces. You must be capable of supercharging a group of strangers and create a magical museum experience for them. You will lead our busiest days and make a lasting impact on those who visit the Museum of Ice cream, weekends included.Your Day-to-Day:Represent the Museum of Ice Cream brand with integrity and enthusiasmGreeting and welcoming guests with high energy and enthusiasm consistently throughout the daySell all products and cafe items, achieving targets and goals when relevantProviding excellent customer service through personalized guest assistance, including ushering and wayfindingBecome experts in each room and area of the museum by understanding the scripting of each experienceAchieve mastery and knowledge of products, treats, and basic business operating informationSet-up and close down assigned exhibits / rooms, including retail & cafe area per opening and closing checklistsServe ice cream and other treats to guests while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanlinessCleaning, disinfecting, and organizing of spaces throughout the museumPerform other duties not listed here that may be assigned by leadershipThis role pays $18.00 per hour.The Necessities and Nice-to-Haves:18 years or olderOpen availability, including weekends1+ years of previous customer service experience, in high volume establishmentsFood Handler or ServeSafe certification preferred (we provide while on the job)Ability to improvise under a variety of circumstancesWillingness to perform other duties as assignedEssential Job FunctionsStanding and walking on your feet for long periods of time, up to 8 hoursBend/lift heavy objects of up to 40 poundsThe Good Stuff:Annual team celebration called Pinkball (yes, it is “pink-tie” themed and you can bring a date!)Unlimited ice creamCompetitive PayFree entry for self at any MOIC location4 free museum tickets per quarter (16 per year) for friends and family + discounts on additional tickets50% off retail productsMonthly team outings#J-18808-Ljbffr
