High School Diploma or equivalent is required plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities for this Position
GPS Source, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), is a world class innovator and manufacturer of high quality, high performance position, navigation and timing (PNT) technologies for demanding defense and commercial markets. GPS Source has an opening for an Advanced Customer Service Associate in our Colorado Spring, Colorado location.
This person must have a minimum of 3 years recent experience at GPS Source.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES AND TASKS:
  • Maintains direct contact with customers before and/or after the sale
  • Supports sales team by developing and maintaining positive customer relations with clients/customers, which can substantially affect service and/or product revenue(s)
  • Works with various departments to meet maintenance services sales goals
  • Works with customers and/or distributors to receive accurate account of equipment failures and provides reports to management
  • Focus of work may be in pre-sale or post-sales or both
  • An entry-level position in a field of specialization
  • Provides support to customers through telephone and e-mail communications and walk-ins
  • Coordinates incident/problem solving efforts between customers and remote site personnel
  • Refers inquiries to appropriate technical, professional or service personnel for appropriate services, repairs, training, and follow-up
  • Logs calls and updates account records
  • At higher level, may solve desktop incidents/problems related to information systems hardware, operating systems and configuration
  • Troubleshoots and conducts research to facilitate customer/user productivity

Combined Salary Range
USD $26.74 - USD $28.68 /Hr.
