summary We are now hiring BGA Rework Assemblers for an electronics manufacturer in San Jose, CA! Our ideal candidate is someone with experience with a high volume PCBA manufacturing environment. Shift time: 8:00 AM- 4:30 PM Pay rate: $22-25/hr Temp to Hire position Job Purpose: Inspection of parts or finished goods needing Quality assurance acceptance, also to help control Quality and procedures on the plant floor. Nature of Work: Able to perform BGA Rework utilizing SRT equipment. Able to perform soldering and board rework for SMT/TH including very fine pitch devices. Perform rework based on the ECO, Process Deviation, and/or MPI instruction using a certain type of solder/Flux (Leaded/Lead-Free clean or No clean process). Must Understand ESD, Board handling, and Safety Practices. CORE REQUIREMENTS: Manual dexterity skills. Knowledge of rework/repair of PCBs to IPC 7711/7721. Knowledge of IPC J-standard. Able to use a microscope to solder rework for extended periods. Ability to communicate and follow the manufacturing process Instruction in English. Previous knowledge (one + year) of electronic sub assemblies & system integration. Be able to lift up to 15-30 pounds.
