The Warranty Administrator position is responsible for handling vendor and customer warranty transactions within our system, as well as maintaining timely shipment and receipt of claims in process. The position will also assist with customer support to assure proper warranty communication on claim status.
Key Departmental Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing Diesel Forward vendor warranty claims and product logistics
- Responsible for managing credits from vendors and issuing credits to customers
- Assist with claim creation and claim updates within the warranty portal
- Provide customer support for claim updates and assist with customer warranty inquiries
- Must work cross functionally, interacting often with Finance, Customer Service, and sales
- Operate in conformance with the requirements of the Diesel Forward quality management system.
- Assist department with the appropriate ERP systems transactions to resolve internal, customer or vendor related issues
- Perform other related duties, assignments, and projects as required.
- Assist other employees both in and out of the department.
Skills & Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Must have strong organizational and communication skills. Experience with Microsoft Office required (Word & Excel). Customer service oriented. Ability to solve problems and multi-task. Experience in Dynamics NAV or similar ERP system desired.
