Guest Services Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service. This role will answer calls and field them accordingly, address questions and needs of the customers, and provide an overall welcoming environment.
REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and data entry experience
- Multi-line telephone experience
- Professional appearance and disposition
- Fluent in the English language
- Strong listening skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to convey messages to employees clearly and quickly

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Operate a multi-line phone system
- Answer all incoming calls; ideally by the third ring with a friendly voice, polite, professional manner, and transfer them to the appropriate person or department quickly
- Communicate with callers in an efficient manner, minimizing the time they are put on hold
- Keep written records of who is on hold
- Take detailed messages when a call cannot be completed including name, phone number, time of call, and information requested to be delivered to the appropriate party in a timely manner
- Use the caller's name whenever possible
- Handle customer complaints effectively and direct the customer if required to the appropriate manager
- Welcome visitors in a warm and friendly manner, and answer customers' questions
- Keep detailed and accurate records of visitor requests and calls received
- Maintain the general office filing system
- Receive deliveries, sort, and distribute incoming mail
- Follow the procedure for time clocks and ensure is properly clocking in and out of work daily
- Maintains professional appearance and neat work area
- Take inventory of office supplies and refreshments, restock as needed
- Handle retail apparel sales
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management
