About the role:WEG Electric Corp. has an excellent opportunity for an Quality Inspector II. You will be responsible for line inspections and pre-test activities of assembled small A line packages - catalog - and simple custom panels, such as modifications to catalog panels.Primary Responsibilities: Execute line inspections and pre-test activities to control panels with lower complexity such as small A line packages - catalog - and simple custom panels, such as modifications to catalog panels. Operate measurement equipment to support the execution of line inspections and pre-test activities to control panels under scope. Verify (under supervision) components, layout, labels, enclosure characteristics and wiring, within scope. Perform (under supervision) the inspections and pre-test activities described in inspection plans and record them in SAP. Follow safety procedures related to activity and equipment used. Record nonconformities in appropriate forms and/or system and prompt production rework if needed.Education: High School or GED.Knowledge / training: Instruments and equipment used in line inspections and pre-test activities of panels under scope (required). Understanding of electrical schematics and wiring diagrams (required). Basic knowledge of related WEG's processes and procedures (required). Basic understanding of functionality of basic WEG / Automation components such as contactors, relays, CB, switches, indicator lights.
