Essential Job Responsibilities: - Greet patients upon arrival and provide a welcoming environment.
- Answer office phones, schedule and confirm appointments, and reschedule as needed.
- Perform patient check-ins, ensuring accurate collection of demographics and insurance information.
- Handle check-out processes, including collecting co-pays, posting charges, and managing patient balances.
- Assist patients with referrals, scheduling, and enrollment in the patient portal.
- Verify insurance eligibility and complete charge entry tasks.
- Distribute practice information and explain office policies and procedures.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, corporate policies, and confidentiality standards.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed.
Education Requirements: - High school diploma or GED.
Qualifications and Skills: - Front desk experience in a healthcare setting.
- Insurance verification and follow-up experience.
- Familiarity with insurance policies
- Proficiency in electronic medical records
