POSITION TITLE: CLEANING ATTENDANT (Janitorial)
REPORTS TO: Office Manager
SUMMARY
Responsible for cleaning and upkeep of the company office areas.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
On a daily basis: empty trash cans, dust (desks, tables, receptionist area, etc.), vacuum, clean bathrooms, wipe windows and counter-tops, clean company kitchen area.
On a regular basis: mop tiled floor area, dust window blinds
Maintain adequate inventory of cleaning supplies
Comply with company policies and procedures.
Additional duties may be assigned by management.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Maintain neat and clean appearance at all times
Candidates are PREFERRED who offer the following:
Two years janitorial experience
Ability to keep accurate inventories of cleaning supplies
TECHNICAL SKILLS
Ability to operate cleaning equipment

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

If some of the duties are performed in the plant, the employee is exposed to moving mechanical parts, to wet and/or humid conditions and to high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles; and vibration. The noise level in the plant work environment is usually loud.
