THE ORGANIZATION
Alta California Regional Center (ACRC) is a non-profit agency under contract to the State of California and for 50 years has provided the coordination of services to individuals with developmental disabilities. ACRC employs approximately 700 persons working out of eight offices in a ten-county area. ACRC is one of 21 Regional Centers in California.
COMPENSATION
The below is dependent upon experience and education.
- Service Coordinator I: $21.01 - $26.78/hr. (must possess a bachelor's degree).
- Service Coordinator IIIB: $24.63 - $31.43/hr. (must possess a master's degree and 1-year social work experience)
- Service Coordinator IIIA: $27.19 - $34.71/hr. (must a possess a master's degree and 2-years post-masters experience )
The actual amount offered within this range will depend on a variety of factors including skills and abilities, education, experience, and other relevant job-related factors. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for the role.
THE POSITION AND JOB SUMMARY ACRC is seeking an Early Intervention Service Coordinator located in the Sacramento Office
(please note our Sacramento office location will be moving to Natomas in March 2025) . The Early Intervention Service Coordinator will have cases anywhere in the Sacramento area and will provide case management and advocacy for children from birth to three years of age with a developmental delay, established risk condition, or who are at high risk of having a developmental disability. Responsibilities include conducting psychosocial and developmental screening assessments in the home environment; developing individual family service plans (IFSP) with families and collaborative agencies; coordinating services for infants and their families; determining ongoing eligibility of clients at age 3; completing all required forms, documentation, and reports according to regulations and ACRC policies and procedures; rotating officer-of-the-day duties with other Service Coordinators; assisting co-workers with special projects, unique problems, vacation, and sick relief as required; providing emergency on-call services when required.

Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS Applicants must possess a master's or a bachelor's degree in social work or a related field; demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communications skills; have strong time management and organization skills; and possess a valid California driver's license and automobile liability insurance. One year of professional experience in social work or a related field (preferably in the field of developmental disabilities) is preferred. Other requirements and qualifications may apply.
