Description Royal Gorge Cross Country, Sugar Bowl's Nordic Ski area, is looking for Guest Services Sales Associates to assist customers with retail sales, rentals and general questions. Guest Services will also help in the caf as needed. As well, answer phone calls, check voicemail, communicate via radio with Ski Patrol and Groomers. He or she will assist the manager with inventory control, daily receipts and record keeping.

Who you are - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Serve safe certificate for helping with food service.
- Possess ability to communicate with customers in a friendly and calm fashion in stressful situations.
- High school level reading and writing skills and the ability to do basic math consistent with end of day Point Of Sale closing.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
What you will do - Provide excellent customer service to customers, employees and business partners
- Collect money from customers who purchase an area pass, ski school lessons, clinics, rentals, labor, retail food and beverage items. Operate POS and credit card machine
- Register students for ski school
- Answer ski areas telephone and base radio
- Provide assistance with retail shop items such as wax, clothing, and other merchandise
- Assist customers with equipment rental, collect forms, and fit customers with boots, skis, and poles
- Help keep inventory and rental shop in an orderly manner
- Balance daily sales to deposit amount
- Fill drink cooler and help stock food for restaurant
- Assist with checking of season passes
- Maintain current knowledge, implements, and enforces Sugar Bowls policies, procedures, rules, and regulations
- Assist with snow removal including shoveling and clearing snow from walkways, stairs, equipment and other areas as needed
