About the roleAs an Extrusion Operator you must be able to proficiently operate an extrusion machine, let-off, and take-up. Operators could also be responsible for running multiple machines in a single line and any other piece of equipment that is required in the assigned extrusion area. Average paid training program is 12-15 weeks in length.Starting pay of $22.00 and up based on experience. Shift premium of $1.25 for working 3rd shift.Desirable shift schedules! 12-hour workdays on 3rd shift (7 pm - 7 am). Week 1: 2 days on, 3 days off, 2 days onWeek 2: 2 days off, 3 days on, 2 days off ResponsibilitiesSafely sets-up, takes-apart, operates, and maintains cleanliness of any assigned piece(s) of equipment.Ability to understand all shop floor documents that are necessary to operate the equipment and manufacture the product.Ability to maintain and complete all required documentation in the manufacturing of the product.Perform all required quality control checks and inspections on assigned product lines.Assist in other areas of the cable manufacturing operations as needed.
