Position Summary
Within the UNM Health System Centralized Verification Office (CVO), evaluates, analyzes, and coordinates all aspects of the credentialing and recredentialing processes for practitioners practicing within the UNM Health System clinical entities.Provides integral support to healthcare operations by enabling timely onboarding of healthcare providers.

Conditions of Employment

Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED; at least 5 years ofexperience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of credentialing or medical staff/provider operations
- Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
- Experience in database management techniques
- Experience using credentialing software
- Ability to learn new applications to function effectively in a hybrid/remote work environment
- Desire to be part of an awesome team that supports patient safety
