Certification Details BLS PALS State License Verification NURSYS Verification (RN, LPN/LVN, AP) Job Details 3x12s, Nights, 7p-7a EOW, holidays as needed Travelers will first be scheduled to work in the Peds Overflow department. If this unit is not open, travelers with staff either PICU or Peds Inpatient department. Care is provided to medical/surgical patient populations who are 0 to 17 years 364 days of age. Trauma patients 15 years of age and older may be placed on adult units per the discretion and collaborative decision between the Pediatric Attendings and Trauma physicians. Patients over the age of 17 years 364 days may be served on Pediatrics if primary care is being provided by a pediatric provider. Job Requirements BLS - Basic Life Support required PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support required Previous Charge RN experience preferred Additional Details Government-Issued Photo ID Required. Primary Source Verification required within 30 days of start. Nursys required within 60 days of start.
