Licenses and Certifications • RN - Registered Nurse • BLS - Basic Life Support • ACLS Experience • Two (2) years of progressively responsible and directly related work experience • Inpatient step-down experience required • Post-surgical experience preferred At least 2 years of Step-down experience required KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS & ABILITIES • Knowledge in specialty area of practice • Knowledge of computer systems and software used in assigned work area • EPIC experience preferred Brief Overview: We have a new opening for a Clinical Nurse - IP ACA. The Clinical Nurse (CN) is a Registered Nurse (RN) who delivers hands-on patient care, adhering to evidence-based practices within the Scope of Practice of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, standards of care, and hospital policies. In this role, the CN undertakes all steps of the nursing process, including patient assessment, data interpretation, care planning, implementation, and evaluation. The CN also coordinates care with other providers and educates patients and their families on the knowledge and skills needed to manage their care and prevent complications. The CN collaborates with the patient’s family whenever possible to provide family-centered care. As a professional, the CN monitors the quality of nursing care provided and is responsible for their own professional development, including maintaining licensure, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, and staying current with knowledge regarding the assigned patient population.
