Job Summary Assists in performing specific duties and activities for surgical patients of all age groups. COMPANY DESCRIPTION Frye Regional Medical Center, located in the beautiful foothills of North Carolina is a 355-bed acute care hospital, 81-bed Behavioral Health facility and more than 70 primary and specialty care providers. Essential Functions Performs multiple departmental assigned tasks that facilitate the transportation of patients, positioning of patients, room readiness and the turnover processes between surgical procedures. Takes specimens to the laboratory, picks up x-rays, charts, etc. Assembles equipment, assists anesthesia care givers as directed, and performs environmental sanitation within the operating room and immediate ancillary units. Ensures proper care and storage of surgical equipment and devices.
