General Comments: Data Collection : Unit Information: Ortho Trauma Location: Medical City Plano Address: 3901 W. 15 th Street, Plano TX 75075 Floor: A4 Building: A Tower General Information Tell us about the unit (s) : Number of Beds - 3 6 Number of Staff – Type of staff: Day Shift – 1 charge, 9 RN, 3 CNA Night Shift - 1 charge, 9 RN, 3 CNA Patient Ratios – 1:4 We do flex to 5 Type of equipment - Tele EMR - Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for: Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. 1 Year PCU Experience ACLS, BLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Ortho and/or Trauma patient Experience List typical procedures performed / Common Diagnoses on unit(s): Polytrauma pts, Non-surgical cervical fxs cleared by spine, ortho, trauma w/ downgraded TBI, no more than 3 drains, burn downgrades . Heparin and Protonix drips. Best personality Fit: REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: Floating Area ( s ) : All PCU’s- Cardiac Stepdown, ICU Stepdown, Neuro PCU , and can float where PCU is overflowed and/or Med Surg (PCU typically stays full though) Dress Code : Scrub Color /Attire - Royal Blue Unit Guidelines/Policies : Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines . Weekends and On call( if any)
