Tact Staff is seeking a travel CT Technologist for a travel job in Augusta, Georgia.

1. General job duties. Types of procedures required.
Performs a variety of imaging protocols to support operations of a Level 1 Trauma center with an adult and pediatric ER. Performs protocols to comply with certified stroke center, non-contrast, contrast, and angiography. May perform studies to support interventional procedures.

2. Equipment utilized in the unit/dept. (Is there computerized charting, medication systems, etc.)
Philips CT, Philips PACS, Cerner charting

3. Required skills and minimum years of experience.
Required minimum 2 years experience as a CT technologist with trauma experience. Ability to work with team members as well as independantly in a fast paced environment. Ability to critically think and make adjustments to obtain optimal diagnostic imaging. Maintain professional in high energy environments and take direction and guidance from team members.

4. Specific licensures and certifications/registrations required. (ARRT, CRT, BLS, ACLS, etc)
Must be current in ARRT and BLS for the entirerty of the contract.

5. Shift or schedule requirements. (Will the employee ever work alone? Is call required? If so, how often? Are weekends required?)
The technologist will not be alone on a shift. No call required. Required hours: M-F 3p-11:30p

6. Floating to other units/departments. (If so, to which units/departments?)
No.

7. Bed size/number of rooms for this unit/dept.

8. Nurse to patient ratio of this unit. (nursing only)

9. Dress Code:
Charcoal or black scrubs

10. Tell us about the unit/department specific training and orientation program.
One day of online training and orientation with manager. Training will occur on the job with technologist.
