  • Registered Nurse position in the Operating Room.
    Job Requirements
  • 5+ year OR experience with at least 1 travel assignment required.
  • Previous experience in a larger facility with comparable ORs of 20 and Trauma II experience is mandatory.
  • Ability to circulate is required, scrub experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in Ortho, Neuro (crani's), Spine is necessary.
  • General Surgery, GYN, Urology, Plastics, ENT, GI are not required but considered a bonus.
  • Looking for a flexible candidate with excellent work ethic that is also willing to do downtime tasks if needed.
  • Candidates should be resilient, manage change well, and be socially adept.
    Schedule Information
  • Contract length: 13 weeks.
  • Guaranteed 40 hours per week.
  • Variable 8 hour shifts including 0700-1530, 0900-1730, and 1100-1930.
  • Potential float to other Central Aspirus locations if needed.
  • On-call requirements include 6-8 weeknight calls and 1-2 weekends during the 13-week contract with a 30-minute response time.
  • Weekend work is for call only. There is a holiday rotation.
    Unit Specific Information
  • 21 ORs including all specialties.
  • The unit handles 40-60 cases per day, averaging around 45.
    Additional Details
  • Radius rule: 50 miles outside of facility location.
  • Traveler must have their own vehicle due to on-call responsibilities.
  • Epic charting system preferred.
  • Guaranteed hours are set per week, except during holidays where the unit is closed.
