Locums - Peoria, Illinois, Breast Surgeon JobClinical Role:

    • Dates needed are Feb 17, 2025 - June 9, 2025
    • Schedule is Monday/Tuesday in OR 7:30a-3:30p, Wednesday/Thursday clinic 8a-4:30p, Friday do not currently run clinic/OR but could do whichever is needed based on patient volume
    • Weeknight call 4:30p-8a, possible 24-hour weekend call Friday 4:30a-Monday 8a
    • Patient Population: Adult/Geriatric; Mixed payors
    • Cases Per day: 15
    • Support Staff: 1 LPN, 1CMA/MOA, 1 patient scheduler, and 1 supervisor
    • Procedures Required: Diagnosis and treatment of breast conditions including lumpectomy, mastectomy, lymph node dissection, and combo breast reconstruction cases with plastics
    • Reason for the Locum Need: To cover medical leave
    • # of Beds: 329
    • Trauma Level II
    • EMR: Epic
    • BC/BE in General Surgery with fellowship in Breast - Required
    • Active IL, DEA, and CSR License - Required
