We are looking for a Regional Supply Chain Planner to join our Performance Chemicals team in Houston, TX.

As an innovative partner, the Performance Chemicals division offers chemicals for various customer industries such as plastics, automotive, refineries, lubricants, oilfield, and mining. Our highly qualified and experienced team has outstanding market knowledge. Together with our innovation platform and application know-how, this ensures BASFs technological competence and allows us to provide our customers with excellent solutions.

This Supply Chain Planning position is responsible for a critical sourcing supply chain for the Oilfield Chemicals and Mining Solutions businesses. While currently supported regionally, these global business units manage many products on a worldwide scale. This role facilitates and directs daily operations to implement the global strategy in North America.

**As a Regional SC Planner, you create chemistry by...**

+ Developing and managing an effective import replenishment schedule, balancing supply chain capabilities and resolving supply/demand issues.

+ Overseeing U.S. import product warehouse distribution and inventory levels to meet operational goals and customer service standards.

+ Coordinating tolling services for EV Mining Solutions and Oilfield Chemicals, managing all support service details and communications with tollers.

+ Planing production for Oilfield Chemicals & Mining, facilitating the Sales and Operations Planning process and identifying bottlenecks.

+ Collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize product flow, balance requirements, and ensure effective communication.

+ Engaging with business leadership and commercial teams to support business objectives and develop a strong understanding of the market.

**If you...**

+ Bachelors degree with 4+ years of experience in Supply Chain or a related field.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and make independent decisions.

+ Proven problem-solving abilities and an action-oriented mindset, capable of exploring alternatives for mutual benefit.

+ Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional, multicultural teams.

+ Proficiency in BASF software tools (SAP R/3, SNP, MS Office) and basic understanding of BASFs global manufacturing processes; APICS (CPIM) certification preferred.
