Key ResponsibilitiesOrder Monitoring: Track customer orders from initial receipt through production, packaging, and shipping phases, maintaining open communication with supervisors.Production Scheduling: Transform customer orders into Master Planning Schedule (MPS) and production plans to meet on-time delivery targets.Inventory Management: Ensure availability of inventory and raw materials required for production, anticipating needs in advance of processing.Capacity Analysis: Analyze production plans for capacity and manpower, identifying constraints and trends on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.Collaboration: Work closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to prioritize requests and resolve customer issues promptly.Forecasting: Collaborate with customers' supply chain teams on long-range and short-range planning to align production with demand.Meeting Participation: Coordinate and participate in production meetings, contributing to the planning and implementation of project goals.Bill of Materials Support: Assist in the development and maintenance of Bills of Materials.Process Improvement: Utilize supply chain systems to streamline scheduling processes and enhance operational efficiencies.Compliance: Follow established SOPs, cGMP regulations, and company policies to maintain safety and quality standards.QualificationsEducation: High School Diploma or GED equivalent; BA/BS degree or applicable business training preferred.Experience: Minimum of 3 years of planning experience in a fast-paced work environment, preferably within the pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, or food industries.
