SUMMARY :
n
Responsible for delivering products and materials on a timely basis to job sites, as well as, for loading and unloading trucks and providing supervision/direction to laborers as needed.
n
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
n
n- Drive trucks from the facility to designated job sites safely and in a timely manner.
n- Load and unload building materials on and off trucks and carry materials onto job sites.
n- Keep mileage logs as necessary.
n- Ability to follow directions from dispatcher/branch management.
n- Ability to convey directions and work effectively with a partner.
n- Operate forklifts periodically.
n- Use personal protective equipment as required.
n- Responsible for care and maintenance of assigned vehicle.
n- Must be able to operate designated crane/boom, or moffett safely and efficiently.
n- Ensure that company policies and procedures are adhered to.
n- Notify branch management immediately on any unsafe loading condition.
n- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS :
n
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
n
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE :
n
n- Some schooling is preferred
n- One must possess a valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
n- One must also obtain a clean driving history record
n- Participate in mandatory federally regulated drug and alcohol program.
n
n
PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by the employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

n- Will experience frequent standing, sitting, walking, bending, climbing, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
n- Frequently experience lifting and carrying objects including overhead lifting (weights will vary from 50 to 150 pounds).
n- Dexterity to manipulate and utilize equipment on an as needed basis.
n- Obtain visual acuity.
n- Will be exposed to environmental surroundings - e.g. dust and varying temperatures.
