Questions before applying? 785-966-3060 ROLE: The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment within the health center. This position plays a crucial role in promoting infection control, ensuring a pleasant atmosphere for patients, staff, and visitors, and supporting the overall mission of the health center. The Housekeeping Aide will perform various cleaning tasks, handles waste disposal, and assist in the maintenance of supplies and equipment.
To qualify for this position, applicants must meet all requirements by the closing date of this announcement. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Experience: At least six months of janitorial, custodial or maintenance experience.
Education: High school Diploma or GED
Interpersonal Skills: Courtesy, tact, and diplomacy are essential elements of the job. Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the PBPN for purposes of giving or obtaining information, building relationships, or soliciting cooperation.
Knowledge :
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customers and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
- Knowledge of computer and cell phone navigation.
- Public Safety: Knowledge of relevant equipment, procedures, and strategies to promote effective operations from the protection of people, data, property, and institutions.
- Knowledge of infection control principles and techniques.
