The Specialist will work with the Enrollment Development Specialists (EDSs) to assist in increasing the PACE program membership by effectively enrolling potential participants and support retention efforts. The Intake Specialist will be responsible for discussing and explaining the participant's rights prior to enrollment into the PACE Program. He/she will be housed at the AltaMed PACE site they support and will act as the bridge between the Marketing and Operations team. The Intake Specialist I is responsible for managing participant's enrollments; he/she will be the central point person and will work in conjunction with other PACE cross functional departments to ensure participants are enrolled in a timely manner. This role demands to work in a fast-paced and team environment, in collaboration with internal and external AltaMed operations teams. The Intake Specialist I will utilize the Customer Relationship Management System (CRM) to track and monitor all leads and will be responsible for daily status reports on marketing efforts and participant enrollment progress. Other responsibilities include assisting with identifying new referral sources; conducting outreach activities and generating enrollment leads through internal promotion activities. The Intake Specialist I must ensure consistent compliance with all state, federal, and company specific requirements.Minimum Requirements:1. Associate's Degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related nursing field of study preferred.2. Minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare industry.3. Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elderly and their families preferably in a healthcare or community agency setting required.4. BLS/FA certification required.5. Marketing/Sales experience preferred.6.
