Summit Place West is seeking compassionate QMA’s to become a part of our team where our primary goal is to provide exceptional care to our residents.nnAbout the Role: Summit Place West is seeking QMA’snnAdminister as allowed, oral PRN drugs when authorized by a licensed nurse.nnPrepare and administer safely and document regularly prescribed oral medications to residentsnnUnderstand that injectable medications must always be given by a licensed nurse.nnDemonstrate knowledge that the telephone or verbal orders may never be accepted by a QMA.nnUnderstand and demonstrate knowledge that appropriate vital signs will be taken and recorded as required before administering certain medications.nnAbout you: The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience.nnMust be certified as Qualified Medication Aide in the State of Indiana.nnMust complete a State approved training program in medication administration.nnMust possess a current health certificate/examination as required by State agencies.nnMust perform only those duties that were taught in the approved training program.nnWe’d love for you to grow with us!
