Powers Health is hiring a HR Coordinator in our Human Resources Department! Full-time Job Description: Coordinates a variety of HR administrative functions. Communicates and interprets policies and to employees and management; refers unusual or sensitive situations to the appropriate resource. Assists with the processing of employee data in HRIS system - new hires, transfers, status changes, evaluations, terminations, etc. Coordinates and manages LOA process for assigned employees. Assists in the planning, organization and presentation of educational programs for employees and/or management personnel concerning HR issues. Assists recruitment with scheduling interviews, references, criminal checks, onboarding, etc.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Minimum of HS Diploma with 2-4 years related HR experience; Bachelor's Degree with emphasis in Human Resources with recent related experience preferred.
- Previous experience in recruiting, human resources and/or sales preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point).
- HRIS, payroll systems a plus. (Oracle, Kronos, etc.)
- Basic HR law and compliance knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, organizational and written communication skills. Must be detailed oriented.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work harmoniously and effectively with others. Ability to work in an office environment with disruptions.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of highly sensitive information.
- Must be able to multi-task and deliver information in an accurate and timely fashion.
