Hi, it's Kasey with gpac your Food Manufacturing Industry Headhunter.  I have partnered with a well-known and respected food manufacturing company in North Carolina who are seeking a Manager of Food Safety and Quality Assurance. The company is confidential as is the exact location but the role is located in North Central North Carolina and is an on-site position, Relocation Assistance is Available.

What You Will Do:  

• As an SQF certified expert you will lead the team in gaining their SQF certification in the 1st quarter of 2025.  

• You will have the certifications and knowledge needed to ensure the facility is compliant: SQF, HACCP, FDA Regulations, GMP, OSHA and any others that may apply.  

• Bachelor of Science in Food Safety and at least 3 years of food quality and safety experience.  

• Create, revise and develop SOPs throughout the facility and train the staff as needed to ensure compliance.  

• Support and monitor the sanitation team, especially for CIP and COP 

• Experience with aseptic and/or hot fill operations is a huge plus.  

• A positive attitude and a willingness to build and develop people through coaching, training and corrective action as needed.
