Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Manager for ASIC Sourcing, specifically for AI/HPC. As part of the ASIC procurement team, you will be the go-to person for implementing standard procurement processes, strategic sourcing and supply chain design for Foundry, ODM, OSAT and Test house. This role will be pivotal in developing and driving sourcing strategies for ASIC products that meet the demands of our high-performance computing solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of AISC technologies, business models, market dynamics, and strategic sourcing practices.
Responsibilities:
- Strategy Development: Formulate and implement comprehensive sourcing strategies for ASIC components tailored for HPC systems, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and establish strong relationships with key suppliers. Negotiate contracts and terms to secure competitive pricing and favorable delivery schedules.
- Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to stay abreast of trends, technologies, and pricing in the AI/HPC sector, providing insights to inform sourcing decisions.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, production, and product management teams to understand ASIC requirements and ensure timely sourcing of components.
- Cost Optimization: Proactively drive cost reduction and process improvement within the sourcing function, ensuring maximum value for the organization.
- Risk Management: Develop risk mitigation strategies related to supply chain disruptions, material shortages, and market volatility.
Required Skills and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement, with a focus on ASIC technologies for HPC or related industries.
- Strong understanding of ASIC products, including various business models to source ASIC and emerging packaging technologies.
- Proven track record of successful supplier negotiation and contract management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of influencing partners and leadership at all levels.
