About the Role:
As a 2nd Shift Production Manager , you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient production of high-quality personal care products during the second shift (afternoon/evening). You will lead a team of production workers, monitor performance, and maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of production during the second shift.
- Supervise and motivate a team of production associates, ensuring productivity and safety standards are met.
- Ensure products are manufactured according to company quality standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify areas for improvement, and implement solutions.
- Monitor production schedules, adjust staffing levels and resources as necessary to meet daily goals.
- Maintain accurate production records and report on shift performance to senior management.
- Enforce workplace safety regulations and ensure a clean, safe, and efficient work environment.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide training, and offer guidance to team members to enhance skills and career development.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a production management role, preferably in personal care or a similar manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing and motivating teams.
- In-depth knowledge of production processes, safety standards, and quality control procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evening and late shifts.
- Knowledge of manufacturing equipment and ability to operate machinery as needed.
