Core Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical circuits, pneumatic systems, and hydraulic problems on plant equipment.
• Install and align motors, blowers, and transmissions, as well as newly acquired equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot control systems for AC and DC motors, as well as instrumentation.
• Rebuild mechanical gearboxes, vacuum pumps, and water pumps.
• Possess basic knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.
• Calibrate electrical equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Complete assigned jobs, including filling out necessary paperwork and communicating job status.
• Perform breakdown repair analysis to determine root causes of problems.
• Teach production employees basic maintenance practices, such as cleaning, inspections, filter changes, and lubrication.
• Contact vendors as needed or directed by supervisors or team leads.
• Report activities into SAP software according to company procedures.
• Participate in working teams and team meetings, contributing to team responsibilities.
• Maintain a high level of housekeeping in maintenance areas and wherever work is performed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics is preferred.
• Previous experience with CMMS software is preferred, especially SAP.
• Knowledge of 5 Whys or FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) is preferred.
• Experience with infrared (IR) technology, lubrication principles, oil analysis, and laser alignment is required.
• At least 1 year of industrial maintenance experience required, with 3+ years in a large industrial setting preferred.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of vocational/technical training with relevant certification.
