Job Title: Sourcing Specialist/Manager - Construction Field

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Sourcing Specialist to assist with our procurement process for our large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market analysis, sourcing strategies, and negotiation tactics.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead and manage team to complete RFPs from start to finish, with at least 5 to 10 years of direct experience in this field.
2. Provide expertise in market analysis for solicitation of goods and services.
3. Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies.
4. Build and manage dependable relationships with suppliers.
5. Write detailed and accurate Request for Proposals (RFPs).
6. Handle contract negotiations and redlining.
7. Ensure compliance with Federal Procurement Requirements.
8. Handle sourcing for Utility (goods, engineering, construction).
9. Utilize e-Sourcing Software effectively and if possible, having experience in Jaggaer Sourcing would be beneficial.
10. Apply strategies for value optimization.
11. Manage and prioritize time effectively to handle high volumes of work.
12. Maintain meticulous attention to detail throughout the procurement process.

Requirements:

1. 5 years of experience in leading and managing a team to complete RFPs from start to finish. 10 years of experience preferred.
2. Previous experience in procurement or sourcing for large construction projects.
3. Strong negotiation skills.
4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
5. Proficient with e-Sourcing Software and, if possible, Jaggaer Sourcing.
6. Strong understanding of Federal Procurement Requirements.
7. Multitasking capabilities to work effectively under pressure.
8. Excellent time management skills.
9. Meticulous attention to detail.
