Job Description

Action Group Staffing is hiring a Service Manager for a local company with a global name.


Purpose of Position: Responsible for leading the service team to deliver exceptional customer support and ensure the efficient operation of manufacturing equipment.


Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

· Lead and manage the service department

· Establish and oversee premium service standards and procedures to ensure consistent and efficient service delivery

· Contact the customer base to ensure service needs are met

· Coordinate service calls to utilize company assets and time efficiently

· Monitor and evaluate the service team's performance, providing regular feedback, coaching, and recognition to drive individual and team excellence

· Ensure timely and accurate completion of service requests, work orders, and documentation, maintaining high attention to detail and quality

· Collaborate with other departments to develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction, increase service efficiency, and achieve business objectives

· Manage inventory of service parts and tools, ensuring availability for efficient service delivery

· Stay up to date on industry standards and any innovations, materials, tools, and /or processes that can benefit the company

· Ensure all service personnel receive ongoing training on equipment, safety protocols, and customer service best practices

Qualification:

· 5+ years of experience in a service management role within the manufacturing industry

· Strong technical background with knowledge of manufacturing equipment and processes

· Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

· Proficiency in service management software and Microsoft Office Suite

· Ability to analyze data and generate reports for decision-making

Preferred Competencies:

· Strong conflict-resolution and decision-making skills

· Ability to manage customer relationships effectively and professionally

· Proficient in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues

· Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
