We are urgently seeking a Health, Safety, & Environmental Manager to lead development of all HSE programs and topics. The role is initially remote, and is expected to be onsite in Mississippi soon.

Requirements

• HSE experience in Construction AND Production environments
• Detailed understanding of OSHA, EPA and other relevant regulations/standards
• Experience working as a HSE professional in a manufacturing environment, ideally battery, automotive, or chemical industries
• HSE Certification; CHMM, CSP, CIH

In this role you will

• Be the responsible person for incident reporting & investigations
• Develop HSE policies & procedures from scratch, specific to a battery manufacturing environment
• Carry out risk assessments and audits
• Waste management, disposal & recycling programming
• Develop key metrics to analyze and improve performance
• Work with regulators and other stakeholders
