Review and document customer relationships. Includes writing risk analyses / memorandums and working with the lines of business as appropriate.
o Ensure all line of business changes are compliant and are submitted / documented timely in the applicable systems.
o Dissect complex organizational structures to complete Customer Due Diligence.
o Identify higher risk customers and perform Enhanced Due Diligence where appropriate.
o Analyze potentially suspicious activity, which will require the review of historical activity along with customer information.
o Provide opinions and advice to LOB partners related to BSA/AML/OFAC coverage and potential risks / areas of focus.
o Assist with the implementation and monitoring of a risk-based compliance program to assure compliance with federal, state, agency, legal, and regulatory requirements.
o Participate in and provide compliance support for projects and initiatives with low to high risk, identifying, assessing, and mitigating BSA/AML risks in business activities.
o Coordinate regulatory changes and impacts to the LOB
o Analyze risks on escalated, referred, or alerted negative news. Communicate negative findings to LOB partners and supply guidance on course of action.
o Coordinate information among various operational areas and customer bases using multiple online systems.
