Job Description

Our global client, a Jewish non-profit with a mission to make a difference in the lives of others nationally and internationally, is looking to add a talented and innovative Art Director / Designer to their fast-paced creative team. In order to be successful, the Art Director / Designer must be conceptual with hands on design skills, be highly collaborative and have a passion for beauty with a keen eye for detail. The Art Director / Designer will work closely with cross-functional team members to produce and develop on-brand, on-strategy and high-quality campaigns, including digital campaigns, social media content, videos, animated GIFs, email campaigns, presentation decks, marketing collateral, brochures and more. In addition, the Art Director / Designer will have a strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout which is demonstrated in their portfolio of samples. Please note, this position is fully remote, operates on Eastern Standard Time Zone and is part time, 10-20 hours a week.


Responsibilities:


  • Concept, art direct, design and produce integrated campaigns as well as omni-channel content and assets for digital and print media including websites, social media content, videos, animated GIFs, email campaigns, presentation decks, marketing collateral, brochures and more.
  • Expand existing organization’s brand into beautiful and functional marketing and advertising materials, maintaining brand consistency and strategy.
  • Collaborate with full creative team to translate client needs and leadership direction into effective, usable and compelling campaigns and designs.
  • Apply feedback to ensure all creative marketing needs are being met.
  • Assist in the concepting and designing of various new organizational sub-brands.
  • Work alongside development team to ensure aesthetics are aligned with usability, accessibility and web standards as they pertain to both internal and external platforms.
  • Support the conception and delivery of big ideas to our internal clients and the broader Jewish world.


Qualifications:


  • 4+ years of experience in art direction with hands on graphic design, with a strong focus on campaign development.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of art direction and design work across various channels including campaigns, digital, social media, print, and marketing.
  • Proficiency in Asana, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, MS Word, Google Docs.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout.
  • Ability to work consistency across the campaigns while following brand guidelines.
  • Strong work ethic, personal accountability and time management skills.
  • Personal passion for doing good in the world and non-profit space.
  • Candidates with a particular interest in Jewish life, culture and history.
  • Bachelor's degree.
