Position Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will be licensed and in good standing in the state of Ohio or West Virginia and will be responsible for handling a variety of litigation matters. Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Research & Writing: Drafting legal documents including pleadings, discovery requests, motions, briefs, and contracts.
- Discovery & Depositions: Participating in written discovery, performing case research, and assisting with depositions and other pre-trial matters.
- Client Interaction: Communicating with clients regarding case updates, legal advice, and client-focused solutions.
- Court & Site Inspections: Attending court hearings, depositions, site inspections, and other related proceedings.
- Team Collaboration: Working with team members to prepare cases and support senior attorneys in litigation strategy and case development.
- Confidentiality & Discretion: Upholding client confidentiality and handling sensitive legal matters with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 2–5 years of litigation experience, including but not limited to drafting legal documents, discovery, and case research.
- Licensing: Must be licensed and in good standing in the state of Ohio or West Virginia.
- Skills: Strong analytical, research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Work Ethic: Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple cases simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
