Tired of commuting to NYC! Excellent opportunity with an established property and casualty insurance company looking for a qualified commercial underwriter with solid broker relationships throughout NY, NJ, PA and CT.

Minimum 7 years’ experience in Commercial Property, General Liability, and Business Owners insurance. Bachelors degree preferred. Prior Experience and willingness to be in a high transaction environment that requires the ability to make quick high-quality decisions. Experience in analyzing loss control inspections. Familiar with online researching of 3rd party data particularly in the 5 boroughs of NYC, including but not limited to social media, as part of the underwriting process. Ability to mentor and train staff as well as interact with Senior Management on a regular basis. Hybrid Position. (in the office 3 days per week). Must be proficient with Microsoft Office.
