The primary responsibilities of the Microencapsulation Scientist include the:

• formulation and process development/testing of microencapsulated products.

• development of technical solutions and recommendations for process improvements.

• effective communication with production, QC and project managers with relation to constant safety awareness.

• demonstrated willingness and ability to continuously improve, learn, expand capabilities and develop innovative scent marketing products.

Qualifications:

• Requires a Bachelors degree in Chemistry or Materials Science.

3-4 years: Experience in chemistry lab with microencapsulation techniques such as complex coacervation, polymerization, spray drying and resin/emulsion technology.

• Experience in maintenance and troubleshooting of laboratory equipment.

• Demonstrate technical / scientific leadership skills and a passion for problem solving.

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

• Able to work productively in an interdisciplinary team environment.

• Understanding of printings, inks and coating

• Experience microencapsulating fragrance oils and ingredients
